Would it be possible for you to investigate what is the vendor for that board? Comment 38 bz Comment 39 Manasi Comment 40 bz How are patches coming along?

Comment 41 N. Regards Comment 44 bz I'm using Linux so I can't use that tool but thanks again for your assistance.

New build - initial boot problems

Comment 45 N. Why not just boot into Windows once just to update the firmware and then boot back into Linux?

Regards Comment 46 bz Comment 47 bz Comment 48 N. Got the mainboard in and it did not have the MCDP firmware v1.

The tool tells you which MCDP firmware is currently installed. And it was way older than v1.

After using the tool from within Windows to update the MCDP firmware, the firmware is now at version v1. Can't tell you if updating the MCDP firmware to v1. Only got one monitor here.

Have ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac Intel ME tried updating the firmware on Linux? Comment 52 bz Seems to be Windows only Comment 53 N. If possible, you can thank me by explaining me how the Broadcast RGB setting can be changed directly upon boot. Your workmates Jani Nikula and Chris Wilson do not seem to be willing to explain it to me, see: Regards Comment 54 Manasi So two monitors perfectly.

This will validate the hypothesis. Comment 55 bz The reason I know is that I contacted ASRock about this problem before I opened this bug and ASRock confirmed to me that it was a Linux-only problem and that with windows all three monitor connections were working Comment 56 N.

Have you updated the firmware to v1. And may I ask why you need to figure out a way to update the firmware? I mean, judging from your email address, you are working at Intel?
